Virginia Beach’s local farmers markets are a beloved mainstay throughout its communities, connecting locals and visitors with fresh local produce. Shoppers stroll these outdoor markets to shop for seasonal vegetables and fruits, as well as eggs, meats, cheeses, baked goods and much more. On Saturday mornings through most of the year, Old Beach Farmers Market draws crowds along 18th Street in the ViBe Creative District, not far from the Virginia Beach Convention Center. Other markets include the Virginia Beach Farmers Market on Dam Neck Road, Shore Drive Farm Market in Chic’s Beach, plus many more.

And looking ahead to 2027, save the date for Virginia Beach Restaurant Week happening Jan. 15-24, 2027.
