Virginia Beach Parking Information

The city operates seven municipal parking lots and three garages at the oceanfront. All locations and meters accept major credit and debit cards. Pay by phone for on-street parking provided by GoPassport App. Questions about a meter? Call (423) 693-0389. All three garages are open 7am-12:30am daily. Rates are $2/hr; Max $10 > 3 hrs, with a Special Event rate of $10. All locations accept major credit and debit cards.  

Overnight Parking

All three municipal garages can accommodate overnight parking for hotel guests that have more than one car. Hotel guests may purchase a 3-day or 7-day pass at any garage that will allow unlimited access to the garage.  

Overflow Parking

All three municipal garages can accommodate overflow parking related to special events or conventions held at the hotel. Each garage can accommodate validated parking where the costs can be billed directly to the hotel to allow the hotel’s guests to access the garage without payment. The garage will track hotel guests’ usage and invoice the hotel for their guests.
