We are currently seeking a PART TIME Housekeeping Room Attendants to clean guest rooms as assigned, and to ensure the hotel’s established standards of cleanliness.   This position will report to the Housekeeping Manager.

What You Bring To This Rule:
Room attendants are responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest requests or complaints. Housekeeping room attendants are also  responsible for ensuring the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.

Some of Your Responsibilities Would be:
Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending and stooping.
Strip and make beds, changing bed linens which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 40 lbs. with a total number of 15-18 rooms cleaned per each full-time shift (averages 30 minutes per each guestroom).
Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.
Push and pull vacuum throughout entire room and empty trash.
Use correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements to ensure all chemicals are correctly labeled.

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in some cleaning capacity, preferably Housekeeping in hotels.
Must be able to multi-task and be very detail oriented.
Physical activities include kneeling, crouching, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, walking, talking, seeing, hearing, bending, handling, feeling, reaching, stretching, grasping.
Must be willing and have the ability to work a varied schedule that includes evenings, nights, Holidays and weekends.
The hospitality industry requires that employees present a professional image at all times. This includes providing courteous and attentive customer service. Employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance. Uniform standards will be explained during orientation. This industry functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day. Regular attendance in accordance with company standards is essential for success in this position.
