The Wyndham Virginia Beach has openings for Housemen to join our Housekeeping Team! Our ideal candidate is dependable, capable of working independently, is detail oriented and able to achieve high cleanliness standards in order to cultivate an exceptional guest experience.
The Houseman is responsible for maintaining high standards in all assigned lobby areas, public restrooms, special cleaning assignments and performing Room Attendant, or Public Area Attendant, duties as necessary
Responsibilities and Duties
Coordinate with Housekeeper Supervisor on work priorities and provide assistance when needed.
Report any missing articles, damage or mechanical problems to the Senior Housekeeper and turn in articles left in room.
Respond to guest and management requests and report guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
Make up cribs and rollaway beds according to specified standard.
Maintain back of house flooring needs.
Keep supplies and areas maintained and organized according to the following:
Restock supplies and needed items in designated closets and storage areas.
Stock room attendant carts with linen and supplies.
Clear linen chute and maintain flow.
Maintain designated floors according to hotel’s standards of cleanliness to include:
General removal of trash and debris from floors.
Maintain service landings and closets.
