We are inviting early risers who enjoy a fun and fast-paced work environment, have excellent communication skills, and possess a passion to serve others to apply for our part-time Breakfast Server at our restaurant, Hemingway’s!

What You Will Bring To This Role:
The Breakfast Server is responsible for providing the highest quality of service to guests in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner. He/she is also responsible for receiving and delivering guests orders and collecting payment.

Some of Your Responsibilities Would Be:
Efficiently and accurately take and deliver orders while interacting with guests
Learn menu items and be able to describe them appropriately to guests, check-in with guests to ensure that they have everything they need, and clean dirty dishes from the table.
Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits; familiarity with domestic and import beers, different types of wine, and brand name spirits.
Maintain assigned areas by keeping them clean and free of debris, and track guests while they move around the pool area.
Work with other servers and be a team player.
Perform cashiering functions by closing checks and preparing end of shift paperwork.
Ensure that tables and side stands are kept stocked, tidy and clean.
Demonstrate superior guest service skills by presenting a friendly, relaxed, and professional demeanor; ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail while meeting business demands.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 18 years of age, proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
Ability to communicate effectively in a positive, upbeat fashion; possessing interpersonal skills with focused attention to guests needs.
Ability to check transactions accurately and efficiently; basic math skills a must.
Previous cash-handling experience, preferred
Ability to withstand prolonged standing
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
Flexible availability; able to work mornings (6:00am), weekends, and holidays
