Front Desk Supervisor – Holiday Inn North Beach

We are currently seeking an experienced hospitality Front Desk Supervisor to round out our outstanding Front Office professionals at our beautiful Holiday Inn North Beach. This position will report to the Front Office Manager.
What You Will Bring To This Role:
As a member of the Front Office Team, the Front Desk Supervisor oversees all facets of the guest experience. The Front Office Supervisor will coordinate the check-in process, resolve issues that guests may have, and engages in collaborative program development to enhance the guest experience. The Frond Desk Supervisor assists the Front Office Manager with associate training as requested. This position will also be the Manager on Duty during the evening shifts. This Supervisor is responsible for maximizing revenues to ensure profitability, associate development, and total guest satisfaction.
Some of Your Responsibilities Would Be:
-Provide excellent guest service and enhance the guest experience
-Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all company and departmental policies/service procedures/standards
-Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction
-Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas
-Maintain knowledge of hotel features, amenities, services and all hotel departments.
-Answer phones, check guests in/out, make reservations, handle guest requests and coordinate groups
-Train, support, supervise and manage the performance of the front desk team
-Involvement in hiring, scheduling, progressive discipline, ordering departmental supplies, monthly inventories, departmental meetings
-Involvement in all hotel activities and offering support and assistance to all hotel departments
-Work to maximize revenues and minimize expenses
Minimum Qualifications:
-Qualified candidates must have supervisory experience in the hospitality industry or 2 years of hotel front desk experience. OPERA experience a plus!
-Physical requirements include: walking and standing for up to 8 hours per day; pushing and pulling up to 100lbs; lifting/transporting at least 50lbs: reaching; bending and stooping, and visually inspecting items.
-Candidates must be willing to work a varied schedule to include days, nights, weekends and holidays.
