About This Role:
The Seasonal Dining Room Attendant will be responsible for clearing dishes, cleaning tables, and re-setting tables in a high volume restaurant. The dining room attendant also multi-tasks and delivers room service orders.
Candidates must be willing to:
- Work an entire shift that involves standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work shift beginning 6:00 a.m.
- Must be flexible and able to work weekends/holidays as needed
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor
- Assist in Room Service Delivery
- Become Room Service Right on Time Certified
- Good understanding of the English language
- Seeking someone with an energetic personality who has a positive attitude and willingness to learn that will meet/exceed customer expectations
- Clear, scrape and stack dirty dishes, and carry dishes and other tableware to the kitchen for cleaning
- Wipe tables clean with dampened cloth and reset with place settings
- Wipe chairs and booths clean with a dampened cloth
- Clean up spilled food or drink, broken dishes, and remove trash
- Assist servers when needed such as carrying food trays
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of room service orders
- Assist in sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping of floors
- Candidates must be willing to stand and walk for a full eight (8) hour shift. The physical requirements of this job include: lifting up to 50lbs; reaching, bending and stooping; carrying trays of dishes; pushing and pulling.
This position is open to applicants under the age of 18 (must have work permit).
