You’ll Never Want to Go Indoors
As we get deeper into the fall, we can’t help but admire the gorgeous October weather of Virginia Beach. The warm, refreshing daytime is followed by crisp, cool evenings and the fresh air makes you never want to go inside.
The NOAA reports that only 5 to 6 days of rain are expected each month with October’s high/low (°F) at 71°/54°. That kind of weather is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the various Virginia Beach Nature Parks, like First Landing State Park, West Neck Creek Natural Area and Pleasure House Natural Area. Going on a trail will also allow you to view the beautiful fall foliage and wildlife native to Virginia Beach.
Virginia Beach offers a ton of adventurous activities. Some of the most popular ones include mini golfing at the ocean front, adventure parks (like the ones at Motorworld or the Virginia Beach Aquarium), biking the boardwalk and much more.
In addition to athletic adventures, there are also countless restaurants throughout the city that offer outdoor seating – many with waterfront views; talk about gorgeous! There’s nothing like celebrating National Seafood Month outdoors breathing in the fresh air of Virginia Beach.
