Virginia Beach Carnival

Virginia Beach Carnival is held JULY 20th-23rd 2023. It is an experience of Culture, Parade & Caribbean Festival. Get ready for the Food, Music, Mas, and J’ouvert .

The festival will showcase parades of bands and a live concert will be held at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. The parade begins at 11am while the concert kicks off at 4pm sharp at the 24th Street Stage. This Festival will become a Virginia Beach destination phenomenon that allows patrons to experience one of the largest Caribbean carnivals on the East Coast. A venture of this magnitude is sure to leave a memorable experience. One will encounter the rich heritage that contributes to the art, music, history and culture of Caribbean people. Locals and visitors will be treated to colorful costumes, classic sounds of steel pan and drums, Caribbean cuisines, drinks, and a mega concert. The festival will offer Corporate Pavilions, arts and crafts villages, Mas and sounds from the entire Caribbean.

The scenes of the beach are captivating and a mixture of Caribbean, Latin, African and other ethnicities makes it the perfect place to hold an event of this nature. Come July, there will be global representations from Denmark, Japan, Bahamas, Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados, Antigua, Virgin Islands, Africa, London and New York, just to name a few. VA Beach Carnival will showcase its rich culture. The carnival is not only a Spark to the Virginia Beach tourism economy, but also provides an opportunity to uplift Virginia Beach residents of Caribbean descent.
