Art lovers will feel right at home in Virginia Beach. Held each year in October, the Virginia MOCA Boardwalk Art Show is Virginia Beach’s premier art event and it is something to see! In its 69th year, this year’s event is Oct. 10-12 and will showcase amazing work created by more than 150 artists. Mark your calendar and get ready to stroll the Virginia Beach Boardwalk from 24th Street to 35th Street.
What to Know:
Each year the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) hosts this renowned outdoor art show, which grew from a local art event back in 1952 to become among the longest-running art shows on the East Coast.

Along with extraordinary artwork created by talented artists, the Boardwalk Art Show will also feature Yoga with Bhav Brigade (31st Street) on Friday morning, Virginia MOCA Art Park (31st Street Park) on both Saturday and Sunday, and the Liquid Art Beer Garden (at 24th Street Park) on Friday through Sunday. (Note: The Liquid Art Beer Garden is a ticketed event).
