Old Beach Farmers Market, Old Beach Art & Eco Market and Singer Songwriter Saturdays are nice additions to any itinerary and a superb way to get a taste of Virginia Beach’s local community. In addition to being a supportive community of small businesses, this delightful community is where to find excellent restaurants and charming cafes. (Note: The Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art recently relocated from the ViBe District to a new location at Batten University. The Virginia MOCA Boardwalk Art Show, 9-11, will return to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront, and this year’s event will be extra special as it celebrates its 70th anniversary.)
