On 2nd Street at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront, Grommet Island Park is a free park the younger kids in your group will love. This free beach playground is wheelchair accessible and full of fun play equipment. Sandbridge Beach, south of the Oceanfront, is where you will find Little Island Park, another incredible beach playground. (Note: Playing at the park is free, however, there is a fee to park in the parking lot by the park from May 1-Sept. 30, 2025. Parking is free from Oct. 1- April 30.)

From local produce and products to all kinds of tasty treats, these family-friendly markets make for a fun outing where you can support local businesses.
