Don’t Miss the MOCA Boardwalk Art Show
It’s no surprise that Sunshine Magazine has ranked the Boardwalk Art Show as a top 15 Fine Art Show of the Decade. This 65-year tradition is a 3-day festival and one of the only accredited museum-produced outdoor art shows. Nearly 200 artists from around the country will be there to present their artwork, from photography and sculptures to ceramics and glass work. The event will be taking place October 22-24, so make a visit to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront to experience this relaxing, high caliber art show.

October 2: Virginia Beach Street Food Festival @ The Shack
The Shack, a wide-open outdoor bar at the oceanfront is hosting the 2021 Virginia Beach Street Food Festival! There will be plenty of entertainment and the area’s best restaurants and food trucks will be featured.
October 2: Fall Gardening Festival – Family Fun
This family friendly event is perfect for nature lovers. There will be a wide selection of plants to purchase, as well as handcrafted, garden-inspired art. You may also participate in different crafting activities.
October 2-3: Warbirds Over the Beach
In Virginia Beach, jet planes are the sound of freedom. Experience one of the nation’s largest all-warbird air shows and see rare WWII and WWI-era aircrafts in flight. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Military Aviation Museum and its educational programming.
October 9: Jonas Brothers: The Remember This Tour
The Jonas Brothers will be taking the stage at Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheatre. You can expect to hear some old hits, as well as new ones.
October 9-10: 2021 Virginia Beach Coin Show
Calling all coin fanatics – Tidewater Club will be presenting the Virginia Beach Coin Show at the Convention Center. There will be US and foreign currency, domestic and foreign gold, artifacts and much more.
October 10: Donut Fest Virginia Beach 
Satisfy those sweet-tooth cravings with the sweetest event in town. At Donut Fest, held at the Convention Center, you can sample donuts, vote for your favorites and enjoy beer or coffee.
October 16: Virginia Beach Water Lantern Festival
Voted #1 Best Cultural Festival by USA TODAY, the Water Lantern Festival is an magical event that focuses on connections. You can decorate a lantern with lets of love, hope and dreams and release it into the water at sunset. There will also be great food, vendors, live music and activities.
October 19-22: 2021 Rockin’ the Boardwalk – US Tours
This 3-day annual Virginia Beach party will feature multiple Rock n’ Roll shows with music from the 60’s and 70’s. Enjoy music by the Beach Boys, Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons and a live concert by “The Sounds of the Supremes.”
October 19: Cooper’s Hawk Winery’s Bewitching Soiree
This Wine Club Pairing Dinner at Cooper’s Hawk Winery is a Halloween-themed dinner made for the inner witch in you. There will be “spooky elixirs and a darkly delicious three-course menu.” Don’t forget to wear your black, witchy attire.
October 29-30: Old Pointe Wicked 10k Weekend
Coastal Virginia’s largest Halloween race and party is back! Bon Secours is presenting the Old Point Wicked 10K and Monster Mile. Dress up in your Halloween costume, race in the flat and fast course and enjoy a Halloween party on the beach.
October 29-30: Virginia Beach KOA’s Halloween Festival
Bring your family to the Virginia Beach KOA to enjoy festive activities. There will be a Trunk-or-Treat event, costume contest, live music, a glow dance party and more.
