Spring Events to Have on Your Radar

Throughout the year, Virginia Beach entertains locals and visitors with an impressive events calendar packed with music concerts, large festivals, art shows, farmers markets and much more. The Virginia Beach Oceanfront always has fun activities going on, and the weekends are especially busy.

Something in the Water (April 28-30) and the Beach It Festival (June 23-25)—with headliners including country singers Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett and Luke Bryan—are two upcoming hot-ticket, multiple-day festivals you have been probably hearing about. All kinds of other events occur as well, from kite and wine festivals to huge sports tournaments.

Good times await all around town, not just at the beach. Head to Town Center for a performance at The Sandler Center and then enjoy a tasty meal at one of the district’s many restaurants. Or check out one of Virginia Arts Festival’s upcoming productions including Ballet Hispanico, Virginia International PANFest or the Mark Morris Dance Group: The Look of Love.
