The International Sandsculpting Championship has been a signature event of the Virginia Beach Neptune Festival since its inception. With 22 spectacular sand sculptures crafted by 32 artists, this is a premier event of its kind.
Under an enormous tent, nearly the size of a football field, is where the magic happens. Sand creations with varying themes come to life by world-renowned international sculptors, competing with the mission of transforming sand into works of art in four days. Year after year, the sand sculptures with their intricate details and interesting themes have wow’ed audiences.
This event is a unique, must-see experience with amazing photo opportunities (see above image). Mark your calendars and plan to bring the entire family.
Tickets are purchased on-site. Admission into the tent is $7 per person and free for children under 12 with a paying adult. The tent is wheelchair and stroller accessible. No animals are permitted in the tent.
