Director of Marketing

Salary + commission Range: $75,000 – 125,000

VSA by Vacatia is growing the Virginia Beach team and is seeking a strong leader for our marketing departments. Our mission is to develop next-generation travel programs delivering the best vacation experience for families to anticipate and enjoy, year after year.  If you are seeking a great culture with room to be creative and implement your ideas, we want to hear from you.

You will work closely with the Director of Sales and operations department daily to ensure that site goals are met. You will lead a team of face-to-face marketers as well as telemarketers.

* Implement and oversee strategies during off season to generate revenue including but not limited to road shows, phone, email, and mail campaigns.

*Recruit, manage, train, and motivate direct reporting staff

*Negotiate contracts and establish relationships with outside businesses

* Build and implement product strategies consistent with the company vision

* Collaborate with leadership and senior management to create and communicate product plans and roadmaps

*Manage and implement marketing processes based on budget needs and seasonality

*Ensure daily/monthly tour quotas are being met

*Maintain accurate marketing performance records, and contracts

* Must be able to work a flexible schedule

Skills/Experience:

·         Basic computer skills necessary (Excel, Word, gmail, Google Docs, etc)

·         Strong communication skills -verbal and written

·         Vacation ownership experience a plus

·         Supervisory experience a must
