A big event coming to Virginia Beach this year is the Jackalope Festival, a spectacular three-day festival showcasing an array of action sports. This Canadian-based festival will make its U.S. debut at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront near Neptune Park on 31st Street from June 2 to June 4, 2023.
The adrenaline-filled festival is free and will exhibit an impressive lineup of sports competitions and demonstrations. The festival will be filled with fun programming all three days. Come watch skateboarding, bouldering, BASE jumping, freestyle motocross (also known as FMX), skimboarding and breakdancing.
Plus, see appearances by special guest skateboarding legend Tony Hawk (in photo above) and many other guest athletes.
Skating enthusiasts will also enjoy the Vert Showdown and the open skate sessions. In addition, there will volleyball clinics and competitions.
Along with celebrating action sports and its community, the exciting family-friendly festival will be packed with many other activities as well. The festival will also have pop-up shops, food trucks and a beer garden, as well as surf sessions nearby. This thrilling event will be one of a kind!
