DESCRIPTION:\n\nJune 30 – August 22 | Tuesday through Saturday at 8pm and 9pm\n\n\n\n\nLocation: 25th Street Stage\nFREE and open to the public\nOn March 3rd , 1891, A Norwegian sailing ship grounded itself during a nor-easter\noff the Virginia Beach coast. For an entire day, the men of the Lifesaving Service\ntried desperately to save the passengers aboard that ship, including the Captain’s\nwife and 3-year-old son. The harrowing events of that day etched themselves in\nthe memory of Hampton Roads and precipitated the creation of the Statue of the\nNorwegian Lady at 25th Street.
